MYOPIA (Shortsight)

E’ una condizione che permette di vedere chiaramente gli oggetti vicini, ma sfuocati quelli distanti. It is a condition allowing to see near objects clearly, but the distant ones are out of focus.
An excessive curvature of the cornea or an excessive lengthening of the ocular globe make the rays of light are focused on a plane in front of the retina.
Myopia can also be caused by an excessive curvature of the eye’s crystalline lens or by its increased refractive power.
